Nolin Christensen moved to Wichita, Kansas in 1988. He was born in Arizona and has lived in Arizona, Arkansas, Utah and Colorado before moving to Kansas. He currently writes a monthly column called Leather Life in the Liberty Press.
After moving to Wichita he became involved in many community events. For five years he coordinated a Men’s Only Night at a local bar. Over the years he has also been involved with the Wichita gay volleyball league, Wichita GALA Awards, the local MCC, and the LGBT Center. He is an active contributor to a vast group of charities including the ACLU, the Leather Archives and Museum in Chicago, the Southern Poverty Law Center in Birmingham, AL and multiple AIDS organizations.
Nolin has served on the board of directors for First Metropolitan Community Church, the Wichita Organization of Leather Fetishes (WOOLF), The Center of Wichita, and the Kansas National Association of Tax Professionals (KS-NATP). He is an internationally known Leather Lifestyles lecturer and instructor. Because of his involvement in the international leather community he was instrumental in the Wichita Organization of Leather Fetishes club receiving international recognition at the 2008 Leather Pantheon Awards as Small Club of the Year. He has been producer and co-producer for Leather Camp, an annual Wichita leather event hosted by WOOLF.
Nolin has worked as a paid genealogist since 1980, a quality analyst for Marriott International since 1986, a paid tax preparer since 1986 and since 1996 has owned Christensen Financial Services; a tax preparation business in Wichita. He and his two partners John and Mike have been together since 2002 and 2004 respectively.
